Cement Industry

Cement plants operate around the clock, the machines are subjected to harsh operating conditions such as temperature, vibration, shock loads and high contamination. These conditions make the machine constantly subject to wear and tear, making maintenance and repair a very difficult task. In such a harsh environment, the bearings, open gear, gears, conveyors, and lubricants must meet the highest demands. The first is to choose the right lubricant, because there is no standard solution for many applications in this industry.

Depending on the operating mode and location of use, you must use different lubricants that are made up of different base oils, additives, viscosity, and consistency. Making the wrong decision can lead to early component failure or even stop production, leading to high maintenance costs and production losses. In addition, your plant must run efficiently and cost-effectively with minimal environmental impact.

Klüber lubrication assists you by providing special solutions tailored to these requirements of the cement industry. We offer a range of lubricants specifically tailored to the needs of the cement industry in critical applications. We assist you in selecting the right lubricant and your partner from conversion to routine testing, from lubricant sampling and lubrication system setup to optimization of lubricant quantity.

Our long experience of over 80 years in industrial lubrication and strong cooperation with well-known OEMs helps us develop the right lubricant to ensure high reliability, optimal consumption and attainment design life.

Features, Application
Graphite based operational lubricant for open gear drives
Because of its unique chemical composition based on an aluminium soap thickener, the GRAFLOSCON C-SG 0 ULTRA provide good adhesion that protects the tooth flank even at extreme loads. The life of the gear is enhanced by the presence of fine graphite particles that form a protective layer and prevent damage.
The vibrations and temperature difference across the tooth flank are reduced. The gears are also protected against corrosion due to the special additives.
Adhesive lubricant
GRAFLOSCON C-SG 500 PLUS, a sprayable adhesive lubricant based on mineral oil, is aluminium complex saponified and contains solid lubricant (fine graphite). It is resistant to high pressure and is provided with anti-wear additives, adhesion improvers and corrosion inhibitors.
GRAFLOSCON C-SG 500 PLUS is free from bitumen, solvents and lead.
Running-in lubricant for open drives
Grafloscon B-SG 00 Ultra is a sprayable running-in lubricant with a mineral base oil. It contains aluminium stearate as a thickener and solid lubricant particles of fine graphite. The lubricant is free from bitumen, heavy metals, solvents and raw materials containing chlorine.
GRAFLOSCON B-SG 00 ULTRA reduces surface roughness and improves the tooth flank quality which makes it also suitable for corrective lubrication if tooth flanks are damaged.
Light-coloured running-in and correction lubricant for open gear rim/pinion drives
Kluberfluid B-F 2 Ultra is a mineral-oil-based running-in and correction lubricant especially developed for immersion, circulation or spray lubrication.
It contains special additives and surface-smoothing solid particles enhancing the running-in process, i.e. physical/mechanical material removal on new tooth flanks.
Kluberfluid B-F 2 Ultra is a fluid grease that is free of bitumen and raw materials containing solvents, heavy metals or chlorine.
Repair lubricant for open girth gear drives
Klüberfluid D-F 1 ULTRA is a running-in and repair lubricant suitable for manual spray application. It is based on mineral oil thickened with lithium soap and contains special additives.
High-temperature lubricating paste
Wolfracoat C is a grey high-temperature lubricating paste containing metal solid lubricant pigments (e.g. copper, graphite). Wolfracoat C counteracts excessive friction, wear and seizing at lubricating points subject to high loads. Wolfracoat C forms a thermally stable lubricating film. At temperatures above 200 °C, the solid lubricants remain in the friction points and protect against tribocorrosion and fretting of e.g. fits up to 1200°C.
